Ah....how I long for the days of yore....when most retaurants were virtually child-free. Life was so much more enjoyable before everyone had to start dragging their kids everywhere.

We were at a sushi bar the other night and the kid at the next table (who the hell brings a kid to a sushi bar?) decided to take off her dress and strip down to her diaper. She was maybe 2 years old. The parents just let her do it. It boggles the mind.

I'm sure parents think that their kids are special little miracles. Well, the rest of us know how to use birth control and we don't want your screaming little monsters ruining our dinners.

I would be willing to put money on it that these same people are fully in favor of such things as the smoking bans, and other big Brother initiatives.

some people just don't understand the difference between family friendly and adult friendly places. I would no more take my child to a sushi bar than eat glass, even though she loves sushi.
