You are right. F1 rules have ruined the sport. Every since Senna's death the safety nazis have micromanaged F1 and the rules change every season. Boring.

I was a big F1 fan in the late-90's, even as late as a couple of years ago, and I always make sure to catch the Monaco GP and a couple of other races. However, the F1 rules have sucked any and all thrill out of the sport. F1 is also run by a bunch of idiots.
Okay, so the Michelin tires couldn't take the curve. I think this is kind of odd since their tires have been performing better than the Bridgestone this year, to my recollection, but anyhow... FIA should have at least come up with a solution to let the fans see a race. Install a chicane, and don't award any points. The drivers would have been fine with that - they were ready to go. I don't think Ferrari has much of a hand in this, as the FIA's decisions are supreme.
