I think the drinking age in Alabama is 18 like most of the country....

so how can an 18 yro drink "responsibly" if they have legally never drank before?.....

I don't want to quibble with the students that went....we were all young once...we know what's it like....not once of us could say honestly that we drank "responsibly" at 18.....

That is a crock of S*** that those kids were drinking responsibly. Everyone who has been to Carlos @ Charlie's say the bartenders pour with a heavy hand. Those kids were all bombed out of their gourds--how else could they have let one of their own go off with three islanders on the night before departure?

These kids--the ones I've seen on O'Reilly-- are doing a big CYA for themselves and the chaperones.

There are lawsuits to follow, and the chaperones have a big target printed on their azzes.
