I had a weird thought last week that N would turn up in Muslim hands. We'd get an Al Jazeera video as they beheaded her. I didn't want to even think this, and I'm sorry I shared it, but weirder things have happened. On the other hand, I can't believe these suspects, esp. the three young men, were street smart enough to arrange a kidnapping, abduction, and sale to some Venezuelan slave ring.
No, they aren't smart enough. But, the dad and son liked to gamble, and who knows if they had gambling debts, or to whom those debts would need to be paid.
