I saw a quote yesterday. "The future belongs to those who show up." I think that is why we conservatives are always on the losing end of public policy. Every time there is a protest and Freepers go out to counter them, the lefties have more people show up. Conservatives by their nature and values are not comfortable making "waves", which goes against our best interests.
The root of the problem is that conservatives worship God while liberals worship the State. Liberals are attracted to political action with religious fervor. The solution to this problem is to convince conservatives that political action is a subset of religious duty.
