My highlight of the day was with the students from Oklahoma City. Jimmy Valentines Brother and I slowly approached them close to the White House fence. We were trying to get a feel for the group. When they saw our flags and signs they applauded and shouted, "Bush Rocks", "We Love Bush", etc. There was about 50 bright faces. Just beautiful fly over country children. We talked and took pictures for a good 20 minutes.
If these kids are the core of what is coming up in the USA, we are in great shape. What a contrast from some of our past experiences here where the DC teachers (etc.) leading a group would not allow the students to be associated with a group with our convictions.
Funny incident, one of the uunbathed protesters was staring me down with a sign that said, "Impeach The Lier". I stood quiet for a bit as more protesters gathered by him. Finally, in a loud voice I said, "The Proven Lier President Has Already Been Impeached".
Thank you very much for all you do---I am in Texas, but if I were there, I would be out with ya'll for every protest and march...
