Isn't that too far west in the ocean to be associated with the one the other night?

Landslides are more entertaining, so long as you aren't around them. Blegh. Probably a 6.5 on the magnitude scale and I'm sure that Lucy Jones will happily tell us that this is hardly unusual to have an aftershock of this magnitude and no, the world is not ending.

Yep, I felt this one. It appears to be near the 7.2 earthquake that hit earlier this week. We Californians are used to earthquakes, but two shakers this close together in just a couple of days even gives me the heevie jeevies...

My prediction from earlier today came true!!!!!

To: doug from upland
I predict a big earthquake (within) in a month with a vowel in it in the next 5 years, and that there is a 50/50 chance it will be on an odd numbered day, and a 50/50 chance that it will be during the day time, and a 50/50 chance that it will be in the first half of the month. There is a 50/50 chance it will be at sea, and a 50/50 chance it will be in this hemisphere.

Now, please give me $50.

(note, the odds on EVERYTHING are 50/50, either they will happen, or they will not)
