My dad thinks she was sold into slavery and that's why she hasn't been found. The Bradley girl appears to have been sold to a brothel. I think this kind of thing goes on more than we realize.

Until/unless they find a body, I tend to agree.

Probably the only thing I could think of even worse than death . . .

I don't think slavers are interested in a corpse. She is obviously dead.

I think it basically doesn't happen but people like the idea so much because it's so tititilating.

That was my first instinct as well.

Check good 'ol Chavez' place...I suspect his corrupt communist administration is involved! Also, I suspect the kid's father..the Judge is in this up to his Nazgul Robed eyeballs!

If her body EVER shows up, it will have been messed with in a way to make indeterminate when she died...so that the slavery angle will be covered up. Like her body will have been chopped and left in sea water to remove ANY ancillary evidence.

From the article:

Iva Bradley said her 23-year-old daughter, Amy, befriended three men who worked on the cruise ship and they wanted to take her to a bar in Aruba.

"They said they wanted to take her to a bar on Aruba that was called Carlos and Charlie's," said Bradley.

Goes on to say, Amy refused to go to out to the bar in Aruba with those guys...but went missing nevertheless, and presumeably quite soon after the Aruba stop...

The common thread is the ship's crew in 1998, and the Carlos and Charlie's bar on Aruba...

Re: the Navy sailor...I'd guess he reported the contact with Amy when he got back stateside, and he may have even contacted "local authorities" at the time. From what I've heard about them, they're less than helpful, and by the time any U.S. investigators showed up, the brothel had burned down, according to the article. I expect he feels terrible about it.

I hope Natalee Holloway is still alive, even if abducted...a chance of eventually being found would still be better than being murdered, wouldn't it?! And with this outcry, it's quite possible the attention being focussed on Natalee's disappearance will lead to new information in the Bradley case...perhaps they will both be found, and maybe even others who were thought to have simply and tragically "fallen overboard" while on a vacation cruise... (this isn't Reno's Justice Department/FBI anymore!)

I have heard that one before but what I don't understand is why no one has mentioned a boat when Aruba is relatively a small island and surrounded by water. I would like to know if Van Sloot had access to one and my guess is he did. I know someone has to have considered it but I have not heard it mentioned.

I asked that question too on another thread. I would like to know if the boys had access to a boat and such things as when was the last time, if so, that it was refueled.

They are obviously directly connected to disappearance, the question is what did they do with her and how?

The world wide slave trade is a massive monster that isn't given enough exposure to the general public because they tourist traps don't like bad publicity which drives down business.

This hush hush attitude involves the governments of these small countries too who help hide the facts for economics prosperity.

Bill O'Reilly talked about this last night and the next island over is known for slave trading.

My other guess is she was drunk and they gave her a drug in order to make it easier for the three to have sex with her and she overdosed and died. The body was then weighted down and dumped in the ocean by boat where sharks and crabs have eaten her remains.

Than why arent more women abducted into slavery or prostitution from Aruba? Maybe because most women know enough not to go to bars in foreign countries and leave their friends to take off with three guys they really dont know.

And this Mother saying, no I dont blame the so called chaperones, when my Grandson went on a class trip to Barbados, mothers went with the kids PLUS they had chaperones and yes they bed checked etc.

18 year olds alone at a bar were drugs and prostitution is running rampant well than who's fault is it? The PARENTS!
If the parents havent taught their kids the dangers and how to avoid them by the time their 18 than its the parents fault.

Than suddenly a tragedy strikes and suddenly the parent is on TV day and night becoming the "celebrity". Ridiculous!
Beth the mother blames the Aruban govt, well this publicity has not hurt the Aruban economy at all we couldnt get a room there when we tried, and to blame an entire govt for her guilt of letting this girl alone in a foreign country without proper advice and chaperoning is outrageous.

The only one not profitting is the VICTIM!
