I know this is crazy but to me the mom has got to hit Aruba hard where it hurts and that is the pocket book. She should say that the entire system is corrupt and Aruba is not a safe place to come. However there would be strong reactions to that and perhaps endanger her own life.
just read in the newspaper today (biloxi sun herald) that an ex-aruban store owner says paul (jovan's father) called her right after the arrest and said natalee had fallen while intoxicated and hit her head on a rock and died, and the woman surmised, but had not been told, that the body was dumped in shark infested waters off the northern point of the island...now, why would a judge tell his son that this is the best course of action? when the victim didn't really fall and hit her head, is the answer...to coverup the rape and murder, is the answer...but to call someone in north carolina you knew and plant the "she fell down" story...that is really clever, judiciously clever
