No, I don't believe so. But FOx emphasized the word "Witnesses", twice. Not my emphasis - theirs. I was puzzled, too. But that is what they said...not suspects they said, "Witnesses." Hmmmmm
But most of the suspects started out as WITNESSES!
Really think so? hmmmmmmm......
Guess it could be a possibility.
Tough duty for a spoiled party boy. The kid's got to be scared s---less. I hope he starts talking soon, then again Pappa Paul probably told him to keep his yap shut.
They were interesting NOT disturbing. We already know they tried to set up security guards as the culprits. Was there something 'disturbing' later in the blog?
Maybe these guys will dislike prison condition so much tht will start talking.
Well let's see, going by that.....
I'd say the parents will be in custody next...
I thought it was a bit over
the top for his attorney
saying how bad the prison
conditions are for sloot,
considering Natalee may
not be liking whatever
situation she's in...
"Disturbing" was a quote from the blog. In my opinion the blog wording was a caution for squeamish readers.
I also found this observation quite interesting:
"In the green room at Fox last night I was discussing the known facts and some conjectures with NYPD Detective Gil Alba. He agreed that it would take some intelligence and sophistication to map this all out. I agree. So far everyone eventually held in this case was first questioned as a witness. Last night the elder Van der Sloot was brought in and spent four hours with authorities being questioned as a possible witness. What that might mean, I don't know."
Still think "somebody" sold her into "white" slavery 'cause they owed money to a "somebody." (No, I don't know, but it's a good a theory as any)
Thanks for the ping. I've been gone a couple of days. Did I miss anything? :o)
Maybe they are questioning the parents to find out if the mother was passing messages to the son via the father? Only took a week to realize that could be going on? doh!
Oh and maggie, the 'intelligence and sophistication', to figure this out, you, brigette and cajungirl are near the top of the list. Until they read cajungirl's links, they won't realize that they are looking through a peephole, while you all have binoculars.
Hey Rippersnapper. I'm back. Boy, lots of stuff going on, huh?
They're questioning the parents? Maybe they found stuff in the house. Newly laundered clothes could mean the mother was complicit in obstructing justice. They may be helping establish timelines and prior bad acts . . .
It's still possible, too!
I am still wondering about the break in at the Fisherman's hut and the stealing of duct tape, et al.
Van der Sloots (mr & mrs) are leaving the police station now after being questioned all morning per Goeorge Szucs of Fox News.

The [Diario] newspaper guy also said last night that "they" were trying to get her off the island to Columbia, they were following leads and that he expected a happy ending to the story soon.
They did tow the parents cars away the other day, right?
