Her eyes worked just fine, that's what you don't get. There was nothing wrong with her eyes. It was her brain. She could not see because there is NOBODY home.
It's like saying that a telescope is not working properly because nobody is looking through the eyepiece.
You are playing a game of semantics. The fact is if she was blind her eyes did not function and she therefore could not SEE. So declaring her PVS based on her lack of ability to visually connect to the world is a complete sham.
