Karen Ann Quinlan was MISDIAGNOSED: She did NOT have cerebral cortex damage.
Karen was allowed to 'vegetate' without therapy, perhaps because of this misdiagnosis.
Another problem with this M.E.'s comparison of the post-mortem weight of the brains of Terri and Karen: Unlike Terri, Karen Ann Quinlan was NOT dehydrated to death.
I wonder if these M.E.s took into account the effect extreme dehydration --over a period of nearly two weeks-- might have on brain weight.
