The next thing that is going to happen is Michael Shiavo, now that the autopsy validates his position, will sue the pants off the Schindlers for defamation, character assassination, and go after all those bucks the Schindlers have been making off of their own daughter's plight. How did the Schindlers afford to go to Rome to see the Pope, hmmm? Where's their funding source. Terry Randall involved here? Selling of mailing lists by the Schindlers? Other scams? Hope Michael goes after them bigtime, and he has tons of interviews on TV to pick from that the Schindlers have appeared on, slandering him. He could bring 10 suitcases full of videotape to court to prove his suit against them.

Love how Terri's brother hardly ever came to visit her until some instant fame and the almighty dollar sign reared its head. Such a swell family. Michael may be too nice though to do it, but I hope he files suit against the Schindlers in the very near future. They shouldn't be allowed to get away with their constant accusations of murder without paying a price for having done so.

Of course sometimes maybe there are several abuse notifications on a poster and then they get banned.

Wonder why so many would be offended by that poster?

Beats me.

Some must be proud to see their handiwork completed. Now can get a good nights sleep.

Euthanasia is a legitimate fear, but we're not Nazi Germany. We are a country of laws, but our laws are rooted in God and some would say, rooted in Christianity as though Christianity were a plague.

The teaching hospitals (medical) are a far cry from the secular universities. The Hippocratic Oath is taken seriously.

There are always renegades in every profession and the AMA has become a tool of the Left (IMO). Ditto for the APA which is seeking to sell homosexuality as a norm, as it is genetic in several homosexual men (a mutant gene, although many of them hate that fact). I have never met a homosexual who didn't wish he were heterosexual. This is getting off the subject at hand, which is, of course, euthanasia. We must never permit that for a whole host of reasons. Living wills are the way to go, IF a person does not want to be kept alive by feeding tubes or by extraordinary means.

My personal position does not matter. I am Catholic.

I was here for awhile and had also read his/her previous posts. I didn't see anything in his/her posts that was offensive nor rude. Strange, very strange.

I wish I could answer you, but he changed specialties 30 years ago. I will tell you this: he thinks the majority of "studies" are bogus, because the grants come with links to either a drug company or a group with an agenda. Understand?

Wow. I'm not touching your post with a ten foot pole!

I have no axe to grind with the Shindlers. I'm sure they loved their daughter and did what they thought was right. Only God knows and I will let him sort it out.

No kidding! LOL I enjoy hearing different points of view and the discussions that follow. Heck, if we all thought the same the world would be horribly dull. And sometimes even the most stubborn person in the world can learn something here on FR. I know I've indulged in a smorgasbord of food for thought.

Glad to hear your information about the physician training. Would be interested in your thoughts on how these laws are instigated.

I hope there is nothing to worry about but this case and the callousness of many posters makes me realize that not all Americans believe in the sanctity of life and that we do not kill.

Time to look at the laws and how they come to be. Time to work on preserving America as the America we grew up in and not the country that allows right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness to only "some" people.

Yeah, they cannot accurately predict weather, yet we're in global warming. Heck, I recall when the same folks were telling us we were in for another Ice Age...lol.

Just how do you know that the brother did not come to see her? Are you the resident Michael relative here?

Yep. And the studies all biased because those that pay want the "right" answers. It's all B.S.

Did you read "State of Fear"? Goofy story, but some good facts and interesting views.

Exactly. God will not be mocked. I don't think that the people involved in Terri's murder will face retribution on earth, but they have to answer to a Higher Authority, when they die.

In the meantime, we who have our eyes open, should make sure this doesn't happen to anyone else.
