I didn't know you're Hungarian. That's interesting. Do you know any of your relatives over there? The reason I ask is because I remember their uprising that time back in 1956 under the Communist regime and how the United States wouldn't help them. I can STILL "see" that big ole tank rumbling down the street. And I remember the "Hungarian Refugees" who managed to escape to this country. If you DO know any of your relatives there, I'll bet you have some stories to share!
BTW, Sure, I'd like to have that recipe. I never had a "real" recipe before. I just always slung together some hamburger, onions, tomato sauce, and elbow macaroni. Hey, stop that gagging. LOL

One of my earliest memories is my mother listening to the radio during the Hungarian uprising and crying because we weren't helping them.
I was born August 1952 so was quite young.
