What's most sad is that keeping the memory of history alive is what helps us to avoid repeating it. The Sons of Confederate Veterans are doing just that.

fwiw, i've been a SCV member for more than 1/4 century. and a founding/charter/life member of the Partisan Ranger Society for about as long.
