and not one thing you said is up for debate.
It just really rubs me raw how easily the charge of treason and the word traitor gets thrown around here.
It ALMOST sounds like the French REvolution and Robespierre on FR sometimes....

I understand your point, but it is not the point of the article nor this thread. The article DOES NOT use the word traitor. I'm not even sure why you brought the word traitor up in this thread.

I agree with you assessment of the treason or traitor--even though the word traitor IS used in the context of being "a traitor to the party"..that kind of thing...
There are a lot of phrases and words that have been used wrongly for years, which, like you said, tends to diminish the real meaning and use of them when really necessary...
I am always upset whenever I hear a politician pronounce that there is a "separation of church/state" in the Constitution, which there isn't, but it has been said so many times that it has become "fact" in our conversations...
I agree with the use of the words....I heartily disagree with everything that John McCain is doing...

NOT even close, McCain took an oath to uphold the Constitution and since the day he entered political office he has been AWOL in honoring that oath.
He claims to be a man of 'straight talk', well time has come to have a bit of actual 'straight talk' about one who is completely obsessed with himself. One cannot serve the Constitution which is what separates US from all other nations of this earth and be obsessed with self.
The subject is not his military service that ended a lifetime ago. The subject is his service as an elected official which holds the same elevation as military service.
Yes I know the fickle voters of Arizona returned him to his high estate, however, this 'speech god' will not control my speech about his arrogance upon that high pinnacle he has elevated himself.

John McCrazy would stab his mother in the back if it helped him. He is a traitor! End of discussion.
