They weren't confused. They were trying to get the little *astard to tell them where the body was. The news got out before the prosecutor was ready to release it. That's why the denial from one source and confirmation from another.

That makes sense. After they reported it on the NBC affiliate, Fox News denied it. I guess I was the one confused, and it's no wonder. :)

No, you weren't confused. Someone just talked too soon before they were ready to release the information. I guess that person thought they were doing everyone a favor by giving them some kind of news. When the prosecutor came out and said that she would neither confirm or deny it that's when I felt the truth was that it was true and Natalee was dead.
