Lets remember they could have and probably did spike her drink or drinks and apparently they spent alot of time plying the tourists at that joint. Secondly there were more than fourty of her friends at the spot hence there SHOULD have been at least several of the Chaperones present using their more mature common sense and experience to note any of their charges were getting out of hand and taking them back themselves.This looks like a bunch of Chaperones who couldn't watch over themselves let alone their charges!

I agree about the chaperones. I started griping about those early on, but most people informed me that chaperones weren't there to chaperone. (Then why are they there? I still don't understand that.)

I am tending to lean the way you are--the chaperones are libel for those kids from the time they left Alabama until they return to their PARENTS in Alabama...

Even if she had disappeared after landing back in US..the chaperones should be responsible...

If they didn't want that kind of responsiblity, they should have not volunteered...
