You know, if we're not critical of "young and naive" kids, they'll never learn. They need to hear it more than the ones who are not naive. The "naive" part might have put her in harm's way. Do not elevate bad judgment to something that's "expected."

And a 17-year old who swims in shark-infested waters should have been taught (or figured out) long ago to beware of sharks. Or that avoiding the water altogether is a far smarter and safer alternative.
