The library incident that I am aware of happened right here in Whatcom County, WA. Someone made notes in a book, an Al Qaeda handbook, and it was reported to the FBI. The librarian refused to release the information about who had previously checked out the book.

Chrissy and the Fourteen are more than my stomach can take all together. I need to develop an activity I can pursue while watching them. Something that keeps my blood pressure down. Otherwise one of these days I'm going to send something through my TV screen. lol
Warner wouldn't have to reassure anyone unless there as a question that was exactly what they had done. I'm not sure what if anything the Republicans would do, but Kennedy, Leahy, Biden and Boxer are not going to be so kind to seven cowards in their party calling the shots indefinitely.
If there is one thing I'm confidant about it is that they will crucify their own. Reid doesn't control the Dem agenda in the Senate. the Seven Dems don't control that agenda. Kennedy, Clinton, Biden, Leahy, Boxer and Di control that agenda to name a few as well as some RINO's because they don't have the numbers to live without RINO support. Any challenge to that authority by those seven is not looked at with kindness.

![](http://www.regnery.com/img/book_040809unholy.jpg) Unholy Alliance by David Horowitz Regnery Publishing, Inc.; ISBN: 089526076X Hardcover - 256 pages (September 2004)
In this tour de force on the most important issue of our time, David Horowitz, confronts the paradox of how so many Americans, including the leadership of the Democratic Party, could turn against the War on Terror. He finds an answer in a political Left that shares a view of America as the Great Satan with Americas radical Islamic enemies. This Left, which once made common cause with Communists, has now joined forces with radical Islam in attacking Americas defenses at home and its policies abroad. From their positions of influence in the university and media culture, leftists have defined America as the root cause of the attacks against it. In a remarkable exploration of the Mind of the Left, Horowitz traces the evolution of American radicalism from its Communist past to its anti-war present. He then shows how this Left was able to turn the Democratic Party presidential campaign around and reshape its views on the War on Terror.
Horowitzs Unholy Alliance, writes John Haynes, the noted historian of American Communism, is an insightful, brilliant examination of the mental world of the radical left. Horowitz shows how todays radicals, unwilling to reflect on the internal flaws that destroyed Marxism-Leninism from within, have embraced an all-consuming nihilism in its place. This has led them to a hatred of American institutions and a solidarity with Islamic terrorists that makes the radical left more properly regarded as dangerous than loony. Unholy Alliance is an eye-opening book that should unsettle conventional assumptions and reveals why intellectuals and political leaders who applaud Michael Moore are no laughing matter. As Harvey Klehr, author of Venona: Decoding Soviet Espionage in America, writes, The world Communist movement may be moribund, but its habits of mind and ideological fantasies have not disappeared. This is a fascinating and depressing account.

I just heard so bad news on Mark Levin's radio show---
Our President has gone off his rocker, yet again...
He is naming LANNY DAVIS one of the committee members of a committee to look into privacy acts in the Patriot Act..or somesuch...(I didn't get the whole name of the committee), but it has to do with privacy and the Patriot Act--
This guy was one of Clinton's private attorneys!!!!
Sheesh!!! I wonder if the Senators would filibuster him, if he had to be confirmed....blech!

It was a non event because the librarian refused the name of the person who had checked out the book and as far as I recall, that was it. I think they were going to take it to court but that never happened.

Senate Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi, in a statement, said the hearing was an example of Republican abuse of power and she would ask House Speaker Dennis Hastert to order an apology from Sensenbrenner. LOL.
