I've heard that these systems can be easily defeated and manipulated with a little ingenuity and know-how. Basically you can take anyone's fingerprint lift and turn it into a working copy for the scanners. I'll have to search for the link.
Why is this any better than using an ATM card to pay? It takes a finger print and a code(10 digit) to access with biometric and it takes a card and a code with an ATM card at the same places. Everyone has an ATM reader now so what the H**l is the dig deal about this?

Don't know about everyone else, but this 'fingerprinting' crap REALLY bugs me.
Where I come from, only *criminals* are fingerprinted.
