Actually, he is saying because the Senators from Judge Brown's state are against her, Democrats should not be asked to vote for her, the same way that Republicans did not vote for Judge White from Missouri because the Senators from his state were against him. The only problem with Leaky's analogy is - nobody is asking Dims to vote for Brown; just that they ALLOW AN UP OR DOWN VOTE!
