blah blah blah...
Well that was the way it was in Cleveland and by rights I should be a Democrat, but I was a Reagan Democrat to begin with and switched after my first vote for President in 84, I switched to the Republican party. Kennedy, Clinton, Kerry and Biden do not represent me, I don't relate to them at all. George Bush the alleged child of privilege seems closer to me in view point, and the way he and his family act is more like my family, they are either genuine or really good actors. I think I would feel comfortable with them, they seem very nice.
That type of Hoosier Democrat, like it or not, descends from those who supported the Democratic Governor (in the 1920s) and KKK Grand Wizard DC Stephenson.
One side of my family was Free Methodist, and thus bitterly opposed to such people, or anyone in IN who supported slavery or Jim Crow. Ah, but how they were castigated, they were "the American Taliban" of their day, the rubes from Jesusland, derided for voting their values (they were Republican, natch).
