Thanks, I am purusing my mail and I am a little ticked that both the National Review and Weekly Standard have Mitt Romney on the cover! Hmm........

Everything is a laundry analogy with you....LOL..OK..here's my all time fave. In the movie "Heartburn"..( which BTW Nora Ephron wrote, based on her marriage to Carl Bernstein) there's a scene where Jack Nicholson is delivering a superb monolgue to Meryl Streep, while he is busy doing his laundry. He stops putting clothes in the machine..turns to her, and asks ( paraphrasing). "You wanna know what is one of the greatest unsolved mysteries in the world. Everyday, men all over the planet lose millions of socks in washing machines and dryers every day. Where the hell do all those frigging socks go to?"

I'm not sure, I'm a bit behind (west coast).
Thank heavens the piano stopped and I now have peppy flutes and violins to listen to! I was starting to slide off my chair.

It's not really the Senate you're watching..It's a very long classical music video..

My coworkers are shooting odd looks at me as they walk by. I guess they aren't accustomed to classical music wafting through the halls.

Well, I wasn't here for Hugo, as we only moved to Raleigh in April of 2001, but we have some HORRIBLE storms here. Last night was unreal and it lasted a long time.
Unfortunately, we're expecting the same thing every day for the rest of the week.

may I have your indulgence to point out that last night, Pedro Martinez pitched a two-hitter; the Mets won again... & had a no-hitter through 6 1/3 innings...long-time Mets fan, but not a Yankees "hater"...

I suppose folks, we have an offensive team and a defensive team....I prefer offense...I am sorry that Sessions and Cornyn are on the "defensive team"---and of course, Frist, being the Maj. leader, is the most disappointing... We would still be on just offense if it wasn't for the 7 clowns
Now we have to start all over again
