I LOVE the Dems' self-pronounced victories. They're ALL Pyrrhic :)

I think Byrd is just trying to carry out the tradition of his mentor Senator Clay of KY, Senator Henry Clay!

Give us a 25 word summary..mass suicide?

I have a suggestion for a new Dem mascot to replace the donkey: the lemming.

This is a slam dunk, when you consider the cross overs so far. Lieberman was also AYE,

That's because he's part of the agreement.

A reminder to all when the up or down vote comes, the dems on the agreement agreed to vote for cloture, not for the nominee, which is fine (for the bottom line) since we need over 60 to break the filibuster and only a simple majority for the confirmation.

They are calling this a sad day over at the DU.

Now if they can put a gag order on Plugs Biden, it will be a GREAT day.
