I was just reading on another news site about a family that took a cruise that stopped in Aruba back in 1998...their 22 year old daughter that was on the cruise with them never made it home. 3 guys working on the cruise wanted to take her to a bar yep you guessed it the same one that this girl was last seen leaving. What is even stranger is a year later a Navy officer was at another bar when an American girl came up to him said she was this missing girl and needed help....still hasn't ever been found.... I think I'll stick to staying in the good ole US of A for vacations.
Me too. I'm perfectly satisfied going on vacations in America. Ever since 9-11 I haven't wanted to leave the country again, and with the way the world hates Americans, I don't expect to travel out of the country again.

I may not leave America again either, though the travel bug in my system is alive and well. Maybe a trip to Argentina, which I hear is still pretty friendly to Americans and is much cheaper than Europe. A man in our church works for NASA and is assigned to Buenos Aires where he helps the Argentine space program get a satellite up. Chile is reputedly good to Americans too. I am not going to sit at bars and chat with local guys, however.
