And exactly of what value is this piece of dreck to society that anyone should risk their life (or have the innocent daily commute interrupted...!) attempting to save his. He should be given one chance to surrender. If he passes on his opportunity they should drop a wall of gunfire into the car and have the coroner step in to fulfill his sworn duty.
If I hear one more talking head couch their comments with, "Of course, the primary goal is to make sure he's alive." Huh??? I've got a steak on the BarBee! Let's clear this road kill and start eating!

Just for s*its and giggles, could this be a dry run to see how effectively the freeway system can be tied up so that LE and other disater response teams cannot respond in a timely manner to a real emergency?
