Dolly, Lori uses PhotoShop - she can tell you EXACTLY how to 'fill' that blank white 'thingie' with your textured background image. I'm sure it's a drag and drop the image up to your larger blank one in PhotoShop, too. That is one of the MAIN things to learn to do, so that your headings and your vignettes will blend in with the main background. I hate to see you buying yet another photo editing program.
Yes, it is dutchess who uses Picture It. Aqua has the two main programs I have - AdobePhotoDeluxe Home Edition 3 (no longer available, and NOT compatible with XP) - and the other one is Nova Exploration's Photo Explosion. (Snugs and JustAmy have just now bought this one, too) :)

Actually, I'm using Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0 but am still at the "101" level only using it to size pictures. Have NEVER done anything with backgrounds, canvases etc. Keep hoping to take time to "practice" BUT not enough time in the day!
