I've been in business for myself for quite some time. Nothing is easy. If making a lot of money were easy, then every joe blow wearing a polyester uniform, name tag and paper hat would do it. The simple fact of the matter is, most people are without ambition, imgination or any kind of drive. The vast majority of folks are clock punchers who are currently getting creamed by those willing to punch a clock for less money.
I can't fault them too much. They weren't warned that clock punching is a competition -- a race to the bottom. What I can fault them for is trying to screw up the lives of their kids by saving a few bucks on taxes and dismantling public education in this country.
Well put. But I don't view it that way, as you can probably guess. The part about the clock punchers is good. I just don't see that the people that are paying the bills are the problem. It is up to the schools to make it work with what they have to work with. The same as it is done in the private sector every day.
