Great post- Thank you!
Every American Flag burnt by those a$$holes needs to be answered by burning a koran on TV.
ditto bump.
ping.
I heard that CAIR gives them out for free- but I don't remember how to get one. Maybe their website.
Actually, here's a correction to my "ditto bump". I will NEVER care for the Koran.
and my "ditto" is in reference to the author's strong sentiments against radical islam, and the Koran.
I agree that the prisoners @ gitmo should disappear- and I believe that we have many unannounced prisons that the prisoners could be shipped to. SO DO IT! And I love the desert island thing, and agree. I would also like to recommend that the LSP @ Angola be considered.
Excellent post about how very few Americans care about the so-called "mishandling" of Korans that we have shipped to Gitmo for the benefit and enjoyment of al Qaeda prisoners. Perhaps it is just my family and circle of friends, but I have yet to find anyone who thought that Abu Ghraib was any worse than a college prank.
Speaking of college pranks, freshman students on my hall were sent driving on 250-mile roadtrips butt-naked. They were given a fistful of $100.00 bills to pay $0.25 tolls and were monitored by students in other cars. That's what college is all about! Those punks in al Qaeda wouldn't last until the first week in October on many campuses.
Lastly, the newspaper in my area lead with a headline about an American soldier allegedly kicking one of their books. How in the name of God can that be the headline in a state with a population of eight million people? There was nothing else of greater importance occuring? Does anyone doubt that the mainstream media would love to see Islamic terrorists wandering our streets?

...in a proverbial nutshell! 100%!
bttt
Abu Ghraib doesn't have anything to do with what occurred at Gitmo. What happened at Abu Ghraib was the result of PC feminist policies and did not server any military objectives. What occurred at Abu Ghraib was purely sexual and base, and it was fueled by female sexual desires. I'm not buying the Pentagon's feminist spin and attempt to downplay sexual nature of what took place at this facility. We're talking about the military here -not college or adolescents.
My bad for mixing Gitmo and Abu Ghraib in the same sentence as I know they're totally unrelated. The media is desperately trying to stir the pot about these so-called abuses and typical Americans aren't biting.
A stupid book was accidentally kicked because some sandy little rat left it lying around on the floor? Hey, I know a guy named Wilbur Smidgen from East Bump, Tennessee who accidentally stepped on his son's SpongeBob Squarepants doll when the kid left it on the stairs...let's toss the book at him, too.
Beheading people, now THAT is something horrific. People laughing and pointing at your privates and putting underwear on your head? That is just silly immaturity. Thankfully most of our countrymen can appreciate the difference.

fyi
lol!
I have a hunch that the Gitmo prison will be closed very soon, and that the prisoners will be dispersed to various allies of ours for further interrogation and "treatment".
Those guys can kiss goodbye to their Korans and their special meals; their prayer rugs and their beanies.
Don't be ridiculous. Obviously, Lyndie Endgland's "sexual desires" were being well taken care of by Sgt. Graner.
Her "abuse" of the prisoners was calculated to humiliate them because of Muslim rubrics about nakedness, etc. and THEIR tendency to taunt, torture, and humiliate women...(not to mention the 12 year-old girls they raped.)
Lyndie turned the tables on them. It was at the advice of her superiors, the military interrogators who were way above her in rank.
That she seemed to enjoy it may have been immodest, but at least she didn't cut off anybody's head!
A-FREAKING-MEN!!!
Please give your son a big THANK YOU from me.
A FReeper who lost someone on 9/11.
good point, palladin!
