Mark Warner seems to be the contender within a certain segment of the party for now, but things will of course change over the next 3 years.
The important thing is that not all Dem candidates are loons, and the party will probably eventually pick a non-loon.
Most of em think 8 years out of the White House over 10 years out of the congres is enough.

Well, I thought the same about McAuliffe.
Quite frankly, I still think what I thought on the morning of 9/11/01, there will never be another Democrat in the White House in my lifetime. I'm 47 now.
If the pubbies stay wobbly on immigration, that gives the dims an opening.
