Don't be repetitious.
Don't interrupt an exchange between two other posters to repeat the same point you were corrected on before.
Don't pick on posters who have a better understanding of the situation.
Don't list every comment they make and parse every word as if you've discovered cold fusion.
Don't take ever response and generality as non-sarcastic.
Don't make personal comments about other posters when you weren't privy to their exchanges with the owner.
And don't come back to a thread to make a point which is inaccurate.
Don't attack a poster because he got the best of you on previous threads.
Don't attack a position which has been shown to be non-existent and not in question.
Don't ping your posse unless you're sure they'll back you up. You're not a leader if no one is following you.
Follow those rules and you can avoid future smack downs by your superiors and a moderator or two.
Now this thread is getting old and smelly, so be a good boy and leave quietly. I'll set a good example.............
Here's some tips: You'd better be right when you defend someone.
You aren't.
So you have to claim that you are fighting against 'reactionaries', and you aren't.
You are defending trolls, and you haven't a leg to stand on.
You search for 'nuance' and claim to be intellectual, and you are not.
You create things to attack, and when things get to hot you claim to be on the moral high ground.
Perhaps if you didn't defend trolls, your words would have some weight.
But, they're worthless and have no substance.
Dang, bigsigh...you say some scary words...care to drop into the Undead Thread some time and get acquainted with us? We have a moat and some dungeons and even an observatory...you may want to check out the dungeons first...they are lots of fun...we have plenty of candles availble, but no flashlights...for some reason, they don't last too long down there...
