That must be the explanation. I've been trying to think of some other group which might represent 3% of America. How about people from Fiji? - just as an example. Imagine suddenly seeing Fijians holding garish, indecent parades in all major U.S. cities while the media clowns proceeded to cover the stories of Americans of Fiji descent being treated unequally in our society. . . . or Mongs, or Sikhs........
I simply have never heard of any group representing 3% of our population causing such an immense amount of "ink" to be used and so much air time; so many millions in legal costs; occupying such a disproportionate amount of our national dialogue!
Have you? . . . I mean, when the Women's Suffrage Movement began, it made sense, and was logical. It represented 50% of our population, but the "gay rights" movement seems all out of proportion to its actual numerical constituency.......or am I missing something here?

Should we really be canonizing special societal privileges in the law based on a person's idolatrous fetishes? Perhaps civil union and homosexual monogamy advocates could conclave to enshrine their own phantasmal state religion and consecrate Michael Jackson as its first Ecumenical Pope!
