Gotta read Maureen Orth's piece in Vanity Fair due out June 8th. Maureen's articles on Jackson have been riveting. She doesn't just go into Jackson's life but some details about his family. With so many people financially dependent on him, I think their holding their collective breath. Had he gone into court by himself without the slavish umbrella holder, the fanatical fans, and some of his relatives (some who were his worst critics in the past), he would have been more sympathetic. He could walk. There could be jurors who don't care who he alledgedly molested just as long as they get his autograph. But lets hope they are more sophisticated than that. I can't wait for Maureen Orth's article to come out.

Good observation. But can Jackson even cross the street without his slaves pointing the way? He's made himself pretend-helpless, pooorrrrr little guy, so he's clearly not responsible for anything. Those nasty little boys just took advantage of him.

When you read the Orth article, please ping me with a summary of the contents if it's not too much trouble. Thanks.
