While I admire your convictions, I think you are going a bit overboard.
America does not have a culture of death. There is evil, but the country as a whole does not have a culture of death. I don't know where that catch phrase originated, but many people use it much too freely.
Don't bother to try and tell me all about abortions and Terry Schiavo. I understand all that, but more than one half of this country would like to make abortion illegal (including me) and the hugest majority of Americans would not starve a loved one to death.
Also, Friends is a TV show. Please don't waste your time worrying about the eternal souls of Monica, Joey, Chandler, Rachel, Ross, Rachel and Phoebe. They don't exist.

Oh brother, what you don't get is that these TV shows have the power to influence. But, point taken...I guess it's just coninsidental that our "heros" are from hollywood, NFL, NBA, and MLB.
