Your definition of "love" is completely false. Apparently you believe that "love" is an emotional state. It is not. Love is wanting and doing what is GOOD for another person-- i.e., one disciplines children not because one is angry, but because it is GOOD for them. A good parent does not give children stuff just to make them happy, but only gives what is GOOD for them. Love ALWAYS requires both thought and action, and love can be given in the complete absence of tender feelings (I still love my husband even when I'm annoyed, or even angry at him.) Love is a choice, an effort of will, and the highest of all ethical norms.
"My definition of love?"
I didn't give you one. All I said is that everyone can "love".
But love doesn't mean you know what is GOOD.
A crack whore "loves" her child, but isn't showing it any GOOD by getting stoned and passing out leaving it to fend for itself around all her transient boyfriends.
