Wonder what is different between cow's milk and goat's milk? My father in law was so intolerant of cow's milk, he was weened on goat's milk. He wsas from Germany.
That was most likely an allergy problem. Most mammalian milks have 3-4% lactose and about 2-4% fat.
Cow's milk contains lactose but goat's milk does not. Cow's milk and cheese derived from cow's milk kills me, but I can eat all the goat's milk feta cheese I want without a problem. There probably are other mammals whose milk does not contain lactose.
I think the protein molecules in goat's milk are smaller than in cow's milk and more compatible with the size of humans and their ability to absorb the molecules.
that would be an alergy to the Protein in Cows milk not lactose intolerant, Goats milk has a different protein.
