Non sequitur. The bases being closed are not actively engaged in or necessary for defense of the southern border. And the bases on the border are not actively engaged in a defense of the border.
You are correct. I have lately turned on this subject. I used to feel the military had no business doing border patrol, but as I saw the problem more and more I think it should be. Give them BP training and let em go.
