Two things:
Why did Felt leave the Bureau so soon after.
If Felt was found guilty of wite-tapping, why didn't he make a deal with prosecutors to hand over Nixon?
The man lives his life in disgrace and was pardoned by a Republican no less. Would someone with ambitions and a huge ego allow himself to be villafied and pushed out of the Bureau like this? I doubt it.
Mr. Liddy, no small ego there, responded in a way that Felt would have responded - defiantly and like a man.
I don't get it.
me neither!
