Photo From Playboy-Themed Party Grabs Alumni's Attention Female High School Seniors Show Up Wearing Skimpy Lingerie
HOUSTON -- A racy photo from a high school party with a Playboy theme has sent alumni of the school into shock, Houston television station KPRC reported.
Some Memorial High School alumni told the station the so-called "Playboy Party" went too far, saying the theme was too hot for teens. However, students who attended the party disagree, saying it was all clean fun.
"It doesn't put off the best impression. It doesn't make me want my kids to go there," 1994 Memorial High graduate Sabra Boone said.
Boon said senior men throw a theme party that is not sanctioned by the school. This year's theme was the Playboy mansion.
Parents are upset after a Playboy-themed party that had girls dressing in revealing outfits.
While one student, who asked not to be identified, told the station a dress code for the party was not established, some of the girls showed up in skimpy lingerie.
Boone, along with other alumni, said she received a picture from the party in an e-mail.
"Everyone is shocked," Boone said.
One parent, whose son attended the party, told the station the senior boys tried hard to throw a fun, safe party, explaining it was held at a private venue with chaperones and police. Attendees were required to sign waivers promising not to drink alcohol.
Boone said girls wore formals to a similar party she attended during her senior year. She told the station she is disappointed in Memorial High School's 2005 senior class.
"Regardless, the girls are hardly wearing any clothes. I just couldn't believe their parents would let them out of the house like that," Boone said.
Those girls look a hell of a lot better then paris hilton
yup..more like the A&F catalogue..
A toad, Mistress ???
Thank you for the unexpected promotion.
You're lucky. My last spell on someone who crossed me was my famous CC Spell, also known as Chronic Constipation. The guy couldn't $hit for a month and he finally exploded.
"This year's theme was the Playboy Mansion"--
WOW, are THEY behind the times! These kids might
as well have done a 4-H theme! I think this story, in good
MSM fashion is grossly exaggerated in terms of the
"community was shocked" angle.
To quote Matthew McConaughey in Dazed and Confused:
"That's what I like about high school girls: I keep getting older, they stay the same age"

Nuts to that---there's plenty to see. More pictures, please!
It's always ok when it's someone else's daughter.
No, it's not .. but, living in Houston, I watched seen this story unfold from the outset (it started about this time last week) and it is being way overhyped.>
People who have their panties in a wad over this thing have been led by the media hype to believe it was some kind of wild orgy and nothing could be farther from the truth.
The party had adult chaperons, police presence, NO alcohol and was part of a tradition at that school going back to when I was there (before dirt was invented) - senior guys throw a theme party every year.
The "scantily clad" females wore more clothing than they'd wear to the beach ... tuffydoodle's reservation not withstanding. If two piece bathing suits are too risque for some folks, they're welcome to clothe their children however they see fit ... what the parents of these kids do is no one's business but their own.
So, again, "nothing to see here folks, move along now".
"How come they are senior men....but high school girls?"
It's typical spin to imply males are always "mature and responsible" while females are silly impish twits. Nice PC way of slamming females with a back hand even though the males LOVE every bit of it. Just another way to "control" a gender.
"what the parents of these kids do is no one's business but their own."
Can't agree with this. Parents let their underage kids drink, drive, do drugs, etc., all with their blessings. There are lots of people out there who have no business being parents and their lack of parenting skills impacts lots of people other than their own kids.
Those boys could have had any kind of theme party that they wanted but they choice "playboy" for obvious reasons and the girls fell for it, hook, line and sinker. No way on this earth would I let my son throw a "playboy" themed party in our home.
And without a doubt, my high standards will be made to look foolish while the parents of the Playboy party boy will look "hip" and fun.
choice=chose
" without a doubt, my high standards will be made to look foolish while the parents of the Playboy party boy will look "hip" and fun. "
So true. It's clueless parents who want and/or need to be their kids "friend" who don't get the bigger picture. I've observed it's always the parents who want to be their kids friend instead of parent that lose control of their kids.
Interesting take, I saw it as trying to say that the males are bad, and the females are innocent victims.

This ought to be a great fight.

I can see you've never visited Ole Miss or FSU. No, I am not an alumn of either. My school was a sausage party.
Parents let their underage kids drink, drive, do drugs,
apples and oranges, tuffy .. I referred specifically to the parents of these kids and what happened on their watch.
These parents allowed no alcohol, had police present as well as parental supervision in place to make sure nothing out of bounds happened.
What is the difference between what actually occurred at this party and a pool party attended by graduating seniors... outside of the fact that the "playboy" theme conjurers up images of events that didn't happen?
The theme of the party is a sexually oriented business, pornographic smut peddler to be exact. This is not appropriate for high school kids, imo. It's no wonder out-of-wedlock pregnancy and std's are such a problem, when parents think the "playboy" theme for a party is acceptable. That's the parents giving approval of pornography, something I wouldn't do nor let my kids participate in such.
It what playboy represents. Either way, I take it this family isn't a religious family. If they're worldly libertines then fine. Otherwise, no playboy parties for my child. I plan to raise sons and daughters with sexual integrity. Besides high schoolers aren't out of the house yet. They don't get what they want.
