Yes--Al Jazerra reports that there were actually 2 Jewish teachers in Jerusalem in the year 33 A.D. walking around who healed the sick, raised Lazarus from the dead, and gave the Sermon on the Mount.

Imagine that!

well history tells us that there WERE many wanderers claiming to be the Messiah in that time period, which is why Jesus would have been met with some skepticsm, until he performed a miracle or two......

it was a fad at the time to claim to be the Messiah

just like it is a fad today to claim one can actually sing well or find one's 15 minutes of fame in the saddest of fashions......

indeed I think there are a few moonbats out there claiming to be the second coming of Christ......dang what if one of those moonbats are telling the truth, judgment day is nigh.....
