It was then that I finally stopped fighting for his life and gave him permission to go home. He needed that. He fought so bravely and valiantly and I know he fought for me. That breaks my heart.

That is the love which will sustain you...how truly blessed you have been, that a man would endure this rather than let you go...how blessed Norman was (is!) that his family should love him so deeply, they let him go home to the Lord.
