Another thing I hate is those effing inconvenient "convenience checks" I get every month from various banks/credit cards. I've ALREADY GOT A CHECKBOOK, you morons! You can't just throw them out since they are useable. When I have the time, I am going to figure out how to stop those.
BTW, I've always liked the town of Effingham (Illinois?). Lovely name. Is that what you say when you return something to the Honey Baked store? "This Effingham tastes terrible!"

Just call your credit card company (toll free number right on the back of your card) and ask them to please stop sending you marketing mail. You can also ask them not to sell, rent, or share your personal info with any other companies.
To stop receiving credit card offers: "The major credit agencies all sell aggregate credit information any bidder. Direct mail and credit companies generate mail based on demographics including zip code, income band and credit payment patterns. Stopping this is easy, you just need your address, former address within two years, and social security number. One call does it all for agencies Equifax, Trans Union, Experian and Innovis. Dial 1-888-5 OPT OUT (or 1-888-567-8688) 24 hours a day."
