My apologies. You are right. The Indy 500 is no longer the largest single day attendance event. It used to be just a few years ago. The Brickyard does not even release attendance figure any longer. They used to draw 500,000 on race day. I believe Danica will increase viewers next year though. My hearty congrats to you Danica.

The Indy 500 has been drawfed in television audience numbers forever. Almost every NASCAR race draws more views than the Indy 500. The same with a Monday Night Football game.
