When referring to the Old Testament believers, I would defer from using faith in "Jesus" since the Promised Seed was not known by that term. In fact, "Jesus" is a reference to our Lord that is far too often used without deference. It certainly was/is His name but it was not tossed about freely and with the familiarity we tend to do today. The Lord was addressed with the honorific, "Lord," "Teacher," or "Son of David." In his martyrdom, Stephen used "Lord Jesus" in prayer. When "Jesus" by itself is used in the Scripture narrative, it is often referring to our Lord, in his humanity, doing something. But the days of His humility are past. He is in ressurrected glory -- and -- btw (for the blaspheming Mary worshippers) -- there is no other (ie. his saved mother) eclipsing that special divine status.
You seem to ascribe to the heretical view that Christ had two beings, that he was a man who became God, rather than God who became man with both a Divine and human nature. Please correct me if I am wrong.
"The slaying of unbelieving priests who ministered is off as well"
Sorry .. you have the wrong person .. I never mentioned anything about "unbelieving priests".
Oh .. and by the way .. you and your tag-team mate are both rude. Who the HELL ARE YOU TO TELL ME "I'VE GOT TO HANDLE SCRIPTURE BETTER" ..?? Such arrogance!!
