A note. In his ancestral Hungarian, Sarkozy is pronounce SHAR-kohz-ee. It's the name of a very famous mathematician and his slightly less famous son.
I think we ought to start calling him "The Shark" or "Le Requin".

I believe Mark Steyn mentioned Sarkozy visting Paul Desmarais in Quebec a couple of months back.
Desmarais is involved with Total, his son's married to Chretien's daughter, he has employed Paul Martin
through Power Corp., etc.
