I've had them both and enjoyed both. However, neither holds a candle to Memphis-style BBQ.

Dry Memphis ribs or wet KC style are hard to beat. The NC vinegar stuff just isn't BBQ.

(My daddy used to swear by a place called Leonard's.)
Haven't had any since my mom passed. She knew how to do it.

Just nasty tough brisket here in Texas. :-(
