I have O neg and have donated many times. Once it saved a kids life . The took two pints and it really sappped my energy but wow what a feeling.
But to give a drop to the red cross isn't in the cards.

And don't get me going on the difference of red cresent and red cross.
A local blood bank yes as long as it isn't affiliated with the red cross.
The American Red Cross is not affiliated with the International Red Cross... they are in fact quite different organizations with very different ideologies and goals.
