Riayadh vs. Baghdad?
Curse on Lawrence of Arabia for empowering the House of Saud.
yeah , they've all been in The World Series of London Hooker Schtuppin'
That's true. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz al-Saud (born 1924) is Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia. He currently acts as regent due to his half-brother King Fahd's incapacity from a major stroke suffered in 1996.
"Curse on Lawrence of Arabia for empowering the House of Saud."
I agree; but Lawrence empowered the house of Hussein (ruling house of Jordan); they were overthrown by the house of Saud in the 1920s, with the help of the muslim brotherhood.
The two families have been rather unfriendly towards each other ever since.
Maybe F/X paid the Saudis to do this to help promote their new film "Oil Storm".
series = serious is an FR inside joke.
Cheers!
Ping. King of Saudi Arabia likely on his deathbed.
They call him the Crown Prince, but I could be mistaken about it being his son.
In all systems of personal rule, successions are a cause for worry even when long anticipated. The death of the current king will cause some to lose and others to gain and make for changes in policies and loyalties. The risk to the regime and the expected successor is less from the public at large than from intrigue, factionalism, and the potential for a palace coup d'etat.
DERKA DERKA DERKA!
King Fraud has been in a persistent vegetative state for years.
Thank you. Very interesting.
Crown Prince, who's over 80 himself, is the king's brother. Most likely the king is dying, and that's understandably cause for security concerns. But the king has been incapacitated for years. CP's been running the show.
At least his family of 2500 can take comfort that he didn't need to receive medical treatment in Floriduh.
may have already assumed palace temperature
Actually, Crown Prince Abdullah, the guy who's been running the show since King Fahd's incapacitation, is Fahd's brother. Abdullah has also been in poor health for some time. At this point, his loss would be more of a cause for panic.
