Hi all.. I thank you so much for all the heartfelt posts & please forgive me for a mass response.. Just returned home. My mom's first outing OUT OF HER ROOM since last July. Did well until 10 feet from her bed. she is on floor & right now wants to let pain killer set in before trying to get up. She is sitting but has pain in knees & hip when she moves..I turned on TV & am aware that the floor is not as clean as it should be. but at this point mom refuses to have emergency help. NO hospitals for her at this point and I respect her view ..as I rather share that mentality. please say a little prayer for us here? Life has been difficult these past few years & she at 86 has lost a lot of life's experiences with the orthopedic situation compounded by way too much weight putting stress on the joints.
